I have a lot of plug-ins that I don’t use any more, and I have to get rid of them as well… lot’s of tedious stuff that I’ve been putting off for a long time. There are other upgrades that I need to make and just have not had the time to do.

I also need to update the InuYasha manga, and work on the photo gallery.

Meh. Oh well! A gal’s gotta do, what a gal’s gotta do.

SO I had the most interesting conversation today in regards to Hump Day (mid-week), humping and InuYasha and BLEACH. I love talking about random things with random people. Makes life interesting I think. *Tee hee*

It was a good hump day. Very good indeed. JD, I owe  you the hump pictures. However, I think that the ‘Secret Lives of Condoms’ video pretty much shows it all.

I’ve neglected my deviantART account for a LONG time now. I always cross-post stuff from my personal blog to LiveJournal and other places, but never deviantART.  Why is that, I wonder? What’s wrong with me? I really need to start paying more attention to this place. And from now on, I promise to do just that

I also need to look at my poor little gallery. It’s so lonely. It’s really a sad thing. I need to at least post all my stories and stuff, since I’m graphically challenged.  Besides, I need a small break from Script Frenzy. I’m all… Frenzied out today.

It took longer than I expected, but I am happy with the end result and overall look of the manga viewer.  I’m a sucker for a good InuYasha doujinshi and even though I am definitely not a fan of the Sesshomaru/Kagome pairing, I have to admit that I am really enjoying YoukaiYume’s doujinshi.  And I was extremely surprised by this.

It has also been fun watching her work mature over time. Just like it was fun watching how Rumiko Takahashi’s artwork evolved over time.

I hope I can put out something decent…

Ha! So I’ve been really trying to tweak the manga viewer for the manga page in my blog (and Henry Tran, the developer, has been so super helpful with my million and one questions! *thank you!!*) but after trying to tweak it so that I can upload different size manga pages, I think I broke it *eep!*

I’m probably making mistakes because I’m so tired, I’m pretty sure it’s me that’s the issue and not the developer. After all, I’m the newbie he’s the pro. Hee.

And then, I keep putting it a side so that when I come back to it I can really focus on trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Funny thing is that when I go and tweak the back-end a little bit, delete stuff that I don’t necessarily need or will ever use, I always seem to run into little visual ticks with the mood themes I am using (it really has nothing to do with the front end of the site and could just stay as it is since it’s only for my own benefit and I could, if I had to, live with it, but I am too ugh… obsessive about things that I have to find the solution for it.)

And now I’m faced with a dilemma… go to sleep and fix it tomorrow, or stay awake and try to figure it out? I’m inclined to do the latter, but I’m so very tired right now.

BLAH!

Decisions, decisions… LOL

Maybe my OCDness will win in the end and allow me to finish this project before 1AM.

So for a long while now, I’ve been modifying my personal blog (which cross posts to LiveJournal, Blogger, Facebook, etc.) to fit my crazy pink style. I’ve learned a lot about websites, html/php coding and sql databases in general by just working on my site… I’m not the smartest cookie, or really good at this stuff. Most of it has been trial and error, spending tons upon tons of hours on google and bugging some of my friends who actually went to school for this (unlike me! I went to school and majored in Psychology and English! LOL) and it’s only due to my OCDness that my blog looks just the way I want it to look with all the modifications I’ve done.

Anyway, for a long time now, I’ve been trying to find a clone to the manga viewers that popular sites such as One Manga and Manga Fox use, and not too long ago, I found just what I had been looking for: Kommiku. It’s still a tiny bit buggy, but it did integrate beautifully with my blog.  The developer, Henry Tran, has been so helpful (and so very kind in answering all my questions and fixing many of the bugs so quickly!)

As of right now, I only have one manga uploaded: WiLLOW, which was created and illustrated by the talented Sandra Chiem (a.k.a YoukaiYume), but I will take the time to upload more mangas.  I really want to focus on original stuff from different unknown  artists that I admire (well, I mean, for those who have not been published yet and are posting their stuff on deviantART, PaperDemon or their own sites…)  I may upload the whole InuYasha manga series and maybe one or two more of my favorite manga, but that’s it as far as those go.  And I will definitely upload some of my favorite doujinshi as well.

I’ll keep working on my blog as usual, but today will probably be the last day that I really put some work into it, since Script Frenzy is starting tomorrow, I will really need to focus on that and nothing else for the month of April. We’ll see how that goes.

Every once in a while, there comes a movie based on true events. They’re often masterpieces all their own. From the way they’re directed to the actors/actresses chosen for the leading or supporting roles. Works of art that leave you believing that you had been apart of it all. You felt alive in the movie.

But then there are movies that just plain and simple; SUCK! They leave you checking your watch over and over. Trying to figure out how much of your time was wasted and where the hell your reason for watching this piece of shit movie went.

Now, without further ado, I give you the review on a movie that did more than leave us wishing to god they(the main cast) drowned/died a lot faster. Which was leaving us wishing we went under before them.

Warning: There are spoilers here. But trust us, you don’t want to see this movie.

Duration: 1 hr. 19 min. (Trust us, it seems longer.)
Rating: R for language and some nudity. (That’s nudity? I’ve seen more nudity on basic cable.)
Cast: Daniel Travis and Blanchard Ryan.
Summary: A couple goes on a scuba diving expedition when on vacation, but they accidentally get left behind to fend for themselves in shark-infested waters. (*Yawn.*)

So I found this neat little website called I Love You Because… Basically, it’s a photography project where you’re asked the phrase: “I love you because…” and you’re supposed to complete it anyway you see fit, in the form of a photo.

I was thinking that I could do this to show my family and friends how much and why I love them.  Not that they don’t already know, but I think it would be neat for them to actually see my crazy thoughts of love for themselves.

I was also thinking of tweaking it just a bit by making my own crude illustrations and my own original writing (poems, short stories, all dedicated to each specific individual.)

This past year there have been so many family members and friends that have done so much for me and I feel like I will never be able to show them just how much I love each and every one of them, but I think that with this, it’s a start.

I will forever be grateful to each and every one of them… for everything…

So lately, well… just this past week actually, I’ve been stuck in a rut. Maybe it just a sign that things have finally gone back to normal and now I need to get out more. Go places. Do different things. Try to find a way to get my old life back.

I know things will never go back to the way they were before, and in a way, I’m okay with that. But I think my life has been on pause for so long that I find it kind of hard to figure out where to even begin.

Maybe I’m over thinking it and I should just jump head first like I always do and deal with things as they come. I’ve always been good at that, so why am I hesitating?

I think part of it is that I don’t want to leave my family behind. Not that I’ll physically leave, but figuratively… I might leave them behind in the dust. I feel like I have to make a consious effort to include them in my plans. And not that it’s a bad thing, not at all, they need to get out of their rut too, but I have to wonder if they’ll be able to keep up with me, or if they would feel terribly irritated with me if some of my plans didn’t include them.

There is so much I wanna do, and I think the fear of hurting my family by being a little more selfish with the whole ‘it’s-all-about-me’ time is what’s really keeping me on a semi-pause state.

Yeah. I guess I am over thinking it. It’s even given me writer’s block for God’s sake! And that makes me cranky.

I supposse I shouldn’t fret. My family will always love me and support me after all. I should just stop thinking and start acting.

Hmm… I think I feel much better now that that’s off my chest
